Supermarket Fireworks are sold to the general public for Guy Fawkes Night. They are generally weaker in explosive power compared to our Sponsors fireworks. But they are ideal if you plan for convenience or for small budget families.

Supermarket Fireworks Leaflets 2019

We’ve rounded up the leaflet deals, so you can plan where to pick up your pyro in time. Fireworks cannot be sold to people under the age of 18 and are not permitted to be set off between 11 pm and 7 am, with exceptions only for New Year, (5 November), Chinese New Year and Diwali.

Supermarkets will start selling fireworks from the 15th October to the 10th November for Guy Fawkes Night. New Year Fireworks go on sale from the 26th/27th to 31st of December. Please allow a grace period of up to 2 days for your local store to get the cabinet out.

Plan ahead before the day. Follow the official safety code.

Fireworks should always be kept out of the way and only used one at a time. Check for BS 7114:1988, BS EN 15947:2010, or CE markings, which confirm they’ve been made to meet British or European safety standards.
